Cursor Stuttgart recap and what's next: Humans in AI Week

Hi builders,

Two updates from Stuttgart: a recap of the Cursor meetup on May 22, and the next event we're co-hosting, Humans in AI Week, from June 1 to 8.

Cursor Stuttgart, May 22: what happened

We ran the May edition of Cursor Stuttgart at CREATORS Space as a CREATORS Friday. Co-working in the afternoon, three short talks in the evening, dinner after.

The talks:

  • Kapil Mittal on scaling english-jobs.com to 100k monthly users with Cursor. Concrete walkthrough of the workflows that got him there.
  • Marko Nedilko on harness engineering for agents, using Le Chatelier's principle from chemistry as a frame. The one-line version: an agent is not a model with accessories, it's a reaction system. When you strengthen the inner harness (skills, memory, instincts), strengthen the outer harness (gates, user checkpoints, security) too.
  • Chris on how he ships fun weekend prototypes on a regular cadence. Useful if you want a repeatable way to start small projects without losing a weekend to setup.

Co-working in the afternoon worked the way it usually does: builders, designers, and founders in the same room, asking the person next to them when they got stuck.

What we tried: physical QR handouts for Cursor credits

We handed out printed QR codes with redemption instructions for Cursor credits. Each attendee got their own. It worked better than expected. People redeemed on the spot and the handout doubled as a takeaway from the event.

Honest note: no-show rate was higher than usual. Long weekend, plus a wave of people falling sick. Worth planning around for future Friday slots before public holidays.

Next up: Humans in AI Week, June 5

From June 1 to 8, 2026, AI Collective chapters in 200+ cities run public events for one coordinated week about the human side of AI: trust, coordination, and who the technology is for. More on the global program at humansinaiweek.com.

We're hosting the Stuttgart edition at CREATORS Space on 5th June. Same format that's been working: an afternoon to build, then a focused hour to meet the local AI community and discuss the implications of AI on humanity.

Schedule:

  • 3 PM to 6 PM: co-working in the Creators Friday format. Bring your laptop and your current project. Ship features, fix bugs, sketch an MVP, unblock whatever you've been putting off. Drinks on us.
  • 6 PM to 7 PM: short talks and networking. A local slice of Humans in AI Week with builders, researchers, founders, and the AI-curious shaping AI in Stuttgart.

Grab your spot on Luma.

See you at CREATORS Space

If you came on May 22, thanks for making it a good room. If you didn't, June 6 (Friday of Humans in AI Week) is the next chance. Bring something you're working on.
